Cetraben Emollient Cream is used to repair and restore skin that has been damaged because of eczema. This emollient cream is available in a handy dispenser and should be applied liberally to improve inflamed, dry and damaged skin that is affected by eczema or extreme dryness of skin.
Do not continue to use if adverse reactions such as rashes or itchiness persist or worsen. Do use the product if you are allergic to any of its active or inactive ingredients. The emollient is not for use on children.
For best results, always apply Cetraben Emollient Cream on the affected surface immediately after bath. This is because the moist skin is most conducive for absorbing and retaining moisture that the emollient provides. Apply thrice a day by gently rubbing in the emollient on to the affected surface. Never rub vigorously as this may further inflame the skin and trigger itchiness. Never rub against the growth of hair. It is advisable to continue using this emollient even after eczema has subsided as this will improve the look and texture of your skin.
The prime ingredient in the formulation is white paraffin BP 13.2%w/w. It also contains as inactive ingredients Cetyl Stearyl Alcohol BP, Emulsifying wax BP, Propylparaben (E216), Ethylparaben (E214), Methylparaben (E218), Butylparaben, Glycerin BP, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol BP and purified water.
