Corsodyl Spray is used for treating a number of common dental conditions. Chlorhexidine Digluconate is an active ingredient which is supposed to be an anti-bacterial agent that helps to reduce chances of dental plaque and for effective treatment of mouth ulcer, bleeding gums, gum healing, denture sore mouth and mouth hygiene. Corsodyl Spray is strictly for external use and should not be swallowed. Keep it safely away from children. It contains alcohol and if in case a child has accidentally swallowed it, seek medical help at once.
Never exceed the recommended dosage. Toothpastes can make Corsodyl ineffective and hamper its working. So avoid using this medication immediately after brushing. Exclusively for oral use. Not recommended for children below 12 years of age unless advised by the doctor. Avoid this formulation if you are hyper-sensitive to Chlorhexidine Digluconate or some other ingredients of this drug. You must consult your dentist if some sort of irritation develops or you notice swelling or soreness of the inner cheeks.
You must rinse your mouth with water again and again, thoroughly and wait for a few minutes after you have brushed your teeth and then apply Corsodyl. You could preferably use this spray some other time and not after brushing your teeth.
