Zantac 75 Tablets are indicated for the symptomatic treatment of heartburn and indigestion. It has active ingredients that are proven to provide prompt and long-lasting relief for up to twelve hours from wind, nausea, indigestion and heartburn.
Not for use in children under sixteen years of age. Always read all labels and instructions thoroughly before use. Avoid using the tablets if you are sensitive to any of the active or inactive ingredients. Do not continue with the maximum dose beyond two weeks continuously without medical advice. Not for use in patients suffering from liver or hepatic impairment. Talk to your doctor before using this medication if you are taking any other NSAID or you are pregnant or nursing your baby.
The formulation can be used safely by the elderly, adults and children above sixteen years of age. The recommended dose is one tablet taken at the onset of symptoms. Swallow the tablet whole along with water and do not chew or break it. You can repeat the dose after one hour if you do not get the desired relief. However, the maximum dose is four tablets in an entire day.
Zantac 75 tablet contains Ranitidine Hydrochloride 84mg (which is equivalent to Ranitidine 75mg) as the active ingredient. Also contains Hypromellose (E464), Microcrystalline Cellulose, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Magnesium Stearate, Red Iron Oxide (E172) and Triacetin as excipients.
